The key to this recipe is to use homemade nut milk and raw pumpkin or yam. It not only packs the most nutrition, but yields the best flavor and texture.
1/3 cup homemade almond milk
1/3 cup grass fed cream or another 1/3 cup almond milk for vegan and dairy free
1 small or 1/2 large ripe frozen banana, sliced
3/4 cup peeled and cubed raw pie pumpkin or yam
1 tsp. maple syrup
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. all spice
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/4 cup ice
Blend until smooth.
